Entry from: Singapore, Singapore Entry Title: "Singapore Style" Entry: "After terrific times in Thailand we had to bid the country farewell and head off to Singapore, Malaysia! We had thankfully arranged to stay with our friends Alysha and Samuele. Alysha and Stacey grew up together and we spent some time with them last 2 years ago right after our wedding. Our first impressions of Singapore started at the airport, which was clean, modern and easy to navigate. We arrived at Alysha's place and chatted for a bit before we cleaned up a tad and headed out on the town. Alysha took us to this great place called "The Screening Room" which is a bar and restaurant that also has movie viewings some nights. We made our way to the rooftop patio several stories above Singapore and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while gazing at the fantastic evening skyline of Singapore. What a view! After some visiting we headed back to call it a night. Alysha and Samuele live in this terrific condo complex just off of the INSEAD campus where Samuele did his MBA and Alysha works. Beautiful suite in one of the 4 or so towers there, and outside lap pools and wading pools outside in the couryard. Not exactly roughing it!
